Guangzhou Suggested Itinerary

Day 1
If you have already settled, start your trip with a visit to the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall. Constructed between 1929 and 1931, it was built in the memory of Dr Sun Yat-sen, the great Chinese revolutionist. Move towards the Five-Ram Sculpture in Yuexiu Park. Carved from 130 pieces of granite, it has become one of the symbolic sites of Guangzhou city. Your visit should also cover the Temple of the Six Banyan Trees, Qingping Market and Shamian Island. The Temple of the Six Banyan Trees is one of the most famous temples in Guangzhou city and is famous for the Flowery Pagoda (Hua Pagoda).
Day 2
You can take a bus to visit the Baiyun Mountain, which is approximately 17 km from the city. You can visit the nearby spots such as the Huangpu Military Academy and the South China Botanical Garden.
Day 3
Visit the Hailing Island by taking a bus from the Enping to Yangjiang. Explore the 16,000-meter-long Silver Beach Shoreline. You may also pay a visit to other sites in this area, such as the biggest building group at Songcheng, the Yinhai Resort and the nationality villas.

One of the major attractions in Guangzhou is the Canton Fair, which is held every year in April. The Canton Fair is composed of 48 trading delegations, including thousands of foreign trade companies, factories, scientific research institutions, foreign invested enterprises, wholly foreign-owned enterprises, private enterprises, among many others.
